Why we do it this way

A marketplace can’t smell rain coming.

A platform can move a booking. It cannot tell you the wash floods at the bottom of the drive, or that the road grader came through on Tuesday, or which house has the view worth waking up for in February.

That knowledge only exists in people who are here — and it is exactly the part that gets stripped out when a stay passes through three companies on its way to you.

So we kept the middle out of it. You book the home from the people who run the home.

That is the whole company. Everything else on this site — the totals with nothing hidden underneath, the phone number that reaches a person, the short list of homes — follows from it.

How we run it

Four things you can hold us to.

The price you see is the price

Cleaning and tax are in the number before you decide, and there is no service fee on top. We would rather show you a higher honest total than a low one that grows at checkout.

We only take homes we can reach

Every home on this site is inside twenty minutes of someone on our team. That constraint is why the list is short, and it is also why things get fixed the same day.

A person answers

No ticket numbers, no queue, no offshore night shift reading a script. You get a phone number that belongs to somebody who has been inside your house.

We tell you the awkward part

The road, the signal, the cold pool in January. A guest who arrives knowing what they're walking into has a better week than one we've flattered into it.

Who you're booking with

Five people, one area code.

Not a support queue. When something goes sideways at 11pm, it’s one of these five who picks up — and they’re a short drive away, not three time zones out.
